How Committed to Your Business Are You?

It was 5am on a Tuesday, just a few days before Christmas and I had set the alarm to get up extra early that day.  I had somewhere important I needed to be, and I was determined to get there by 5:45am.  When I arrived at my destination, I was thrilled to find out that I was the first person to get there.  It was going guarantee me of getting what I was after.

So, where was I going, what was so important that I sacrificed a few hours of sleep to get it?  It was a Zhu Zhu Pet.  My granddaughter wanted one for Christmas.  A few days prior I didn’t even know such a thing existed.  But she wanted one, and I did some research and found out that WalMart would be getting a few in each day before Christmas and they would be available to those that got in line prior to 7am.  Not only was I the first in line, but that privilege allowed me to have first pick of the toy and any of the accessories they had available that day.

My granddaughter has no idea what I did to get her the gift she had her heart set on.  It isn’t important for her to know.  What is important is that I was able to give her what her heart desired, and therein is the great reward for me.  Seeing her face light up when she opened her gift.  Wow…words cannot describe it.

It got me thinking about the level of commitment it took for me to get her that gift.  If that same level of commitment is applied to anything in life, do you think the results would be great, too?  It would.  So often, though, we settle for mediocre, rather than reaching the extra distance to achieve greatness.  I’ve been guilty of that numerous times.

What would happen to your business if you stretched yourself a little farther?  The stuff that comes easy to you, you don’t struggle with that, right?  But the harder stuff, maybe even the technical stuff, do you avoid those things because they appear too hard?  There’s little reward in doing the easy stuff.  The true winners are those that stretch themselves on a daily basis to achieve greatness.

I encourage you to look at each day as a new opportunity to stretch yourself a little further in your business.  Learn new technology that you can apply to your business, go the extra distance that your competitors aren’t doing.  It will set your business apart from all the rest, and make it easier for your customers and prospects to decide to work with you because you have made yourself known to be an individual that gives their best to whatever they do.

Ask yourself this question:  “Would I do business with me?”  I know that seems like a silly question, but I’m asking you to be totally honest here.  The answer may have a rather painful answer.  If it does, then look at ways to improve, and then take action!  Making a little correction and stretching yourself a little further each day will make a tremendous difference in your results over time.  You’ll be able to look back a year from now and see a huge difference in your results.

Here are some simple steps you can take right now to get you started in a new direction with a renewed energy and commitment to your business:

1.  Hang out with people that encourage you to do your best.

2.  Join a mastermind group.  This will keep you thinking of new ideas and how you can implement them for your business.

3.  Spend time each day reading or watching information that is positive and uplifting.  I highly recommend this one, because I start every day with it and have seen it’s power:  Click Here

Make a commitment to your business the same way you commit to those you care about the most.  You’re going to love the results!

Why Should You Syndicate Your Blog Content?

Every morning when I get up, I have a decision to make:  What am I going to blog about today that will be valuable content that can help others?  It’s not as difficult to figure out as it used to be when I got started, because I keep a list of blog topics that come to me throughout the day.

Once the blog post is written, then it’s time to write an autoresponder message that points to that specific blog post.  Again, this was not as difficult as it used to be.  Back then it was a matter of spending the next couple hours, posting comments on blogs, forums, social media sites, etc.

It became more time consuming to post to all those other sites, than the time it took for me to write the post.

Not any more.

I found out that the successful marketers hire an assistant to do all that posting of their content on various sites.  Ok, well for me, that was not an option.  I had not found the kind of success (yet) to be able to afford to do that, but it sure sounded like something I would do at some point in the future.

Afterall, it made perfect sense to me to have someone else do the time-consuming tasks that are necessary to get targeted traffic to my site, which would give me more time to connect with folks on social media sites, write more content, and manage the day to day stuff that every business owner must do.

I mean, if I could hire a couple hundred assistants to post my content all over the Internet, that would be pretty awesome, wouldn’t it?  Well, I found a couple hundred assistants that are now doing that stuff for me, and it isn’t costing me an arm and a leg, either!

So, why should you syndicate your blog traffic?

1.  It increases traffic to your blog (this one is obvious, but I had to put it in here anyway).  The more eyeballs that see your links, the more eyeballs will see your blog.

2.  It increases the number of back links.  Back links are gold!

3.  It improves your SEO.  Search engines love to see back links and rankings by both social media and social bookmarking sites.

If I haven’t yet convinced you that you should syndicate your blog content, then perhaps going here will.  You can find out all about how you can get a couple hundred assistants to syndicate your blog content just like I now have.

I can tell you now, after using this for just a couple of weeks, that it truly works.  Traffic to my blog has more than doubled in only 10 days!  I’m very excited to see what the long terms affects will be.

As long as I keep blogging and have my army of soldiers posting my content, that traffic will continue to increase.  My gift to you for reading this post:  you can try it for yourself for just $1 and start driving traffic to your blog by clicking here.

Now, you have no excuse not to drive great, targeted traffic to your blog.  You’ll have the time freedom to create more relevant, valuable content, and still have time to do the things you enjoy with your family and friends.
